Course Description

Chemistry
Students will be exposed to Chemistry concepts from the strands related to;
●Spectroscopic analysis
●Organic chemistry
●Oxidation-reduction process
●Chemical processes
●Thermochemical principles.
Recommended Prior Learning
Must have gained at least 14 credits at Level 2 Chemistry.
Pathway
Level 3 Chemistry will prepare students for tertiary education such as Biomedical Science, Health Science, Education, and a broad range of undergraduate courses.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
